What a chemical reaction I had with this work. It blew me out of the water. Really reminded me of the story telling style of John Irving, a well told tale, full of quirky characters that's as entertaining as hell. Fair play to the novelist, a successful career behind her and an even more promising one ahead. Highly recommended. Oh and if you're a writer that enters the first 500 word novel … [Read more...]
Accidental Mail Order Bride
This book was amazing, j.s. cooper did a great job. I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters. Lucy going to Montana to be a mail order bride of sorts, her first introduction to that town was sure funny, trying to explain why she was there without coming out and saying. Austin and lucy had super hot chemistry from the beginning, I was a tad disappointed when it looked like she was going to … [Read more...]

Things We Never Got Over
I’ve never written a book review. I know there are people who do this professionally. They outline the book and give AMAZING opinions that I wholeheartedly read prior to buying. Mine will be nothing like theirs. But this book. I couldn’t NOT tell anyone and everyone how amazing this book is. I’m still raw. Knox’s love for both Naomi and Waylay. It was so pure and touching. This wasn’t like most … [Read more...]

It Ends with Us: A Novel
I'd heard so much about Colleen Hoover, I just had to see what all the fuss was about - so I picked up this book, and boy was I glad I did. It Ends With Us is compulsively readable with a heartbreaking and powerful story. The characters are so well drawn, there is no black and white here - which is hugely important considering the subject matter. To make your reader fall in love with a character … [Read more...]

The Beach House
Awesome! I am a reader and not a writer so it is hard for me to convey how much a loved this book. Life was not as expected for Julie and I hated when she got roped back in but it does make a great story. The setting is perfect. Dawson is wonderful and I love all the supporting characters. I knew it was a cliff hanger going in but decided to give it a try. Glad I did but hope I don't have to wait … [Read more...]
The Giver of Stars: A Novel
“Though she made her mark writing contemporary romance, Moyes proves just as adept at historical fiction. . . . The Giver of Stars is a celebration of love, but also of reading, of knowledge, of female friendship, of the beauty of our most rural corners, and our enduring American grit: the kind of true grit that can be found in the hills of Kentucky and on the pages of this inspiring book.” —The … [Read more...]
