Motorcycle Club Romances are a distinct niche within the Contemporary Romance category.  Dark, gritty, and rough. If you like sweet and clean romances, MCC romances are definitely  NOT for you.  Most of them are filled with hot, steamy  sex which can start out as rape or “almost” rape, depending on whose version you are reading. 

MCC romances are populated with loads of bad boys, who are deeply wounded and for whom, the club is their only family, until of course … the romance.  What you have is loyalty, sometimes for life, alpha males pairing off against, or with each other. The leather is sexy, the tattoos proliferate and the bikes? Yikes!

The women they associate with, range from young and naive, to strong and smart. What they have in common is they are attracted to bad boys and like a hint of danger. Naive or smart as a tack, these ladies often get into way more danger than they bargained for.



This niche had dozens of writers who have penned at least a trilogy, if not a long running series.  The FANS are devoted and gobble up every MCC romance in sight. MCC romance has a larger following than you might have originally imagined.   Just take a look at some of the top authors below and understand that this is just the tip of the MCC iceberg.
